Oscar de la Renta Wedding Gown

“Un Amour Vibrant” – A Vibrant Love
A bright and striking love full of energy and enthusiasm.

Get ready for this high fashion, editorial branding project with a Luxe Asian Fusion Design. Featuring bold colors, non-traditional fashions, and lush floral designs. We drew from several different cultural influences for the styling and focused on diversity.

This design is full of fabulous textures and colors moving throughout the shoot. You can see this within the pattern mixing on the table decor, the different fabrics and embellishments used in the fashion styling and the general ambience inside the Larz Anderson House.

The Anderson House in Washington, D.C., is now the headquarters of the American Revolution Institute. It was completed in 1905 and was the winter home of American diplomat Larz Anderson and his wife, Isabel, who often entertained. Guests lists touting high-profile names such as William H. Taft, Calvin Coolidge, and Winston Churchill—came with the diplomatic territory. You can now rent this incredible space for weddings and events.

The banquet table was positioned in the upstairs hallway of Anderson House to take advantage of the hanging tapestries. Set for 12, the table is flowing with grass green velvets accented with melon and clay tones. The floral vessels running down the table are all antique Asian designs and much taller than the normal compote style wedding vessels you normally see these days.  I love how the napkins, vessels, table settings and linens all work together to create something truly unique and lush.

We used the vessels in the table decor and then also included them within our floral installation against a fresco style wall painting in the first floor Winter Garden. The images shot here feel like you’ve been transported to an Italian style villa aside Lake Como. Almost like you’re stepping into a painting.
